In James Halliday’s 2010 Wine Companion, he awards the vineyard with 4.5 stars and rates the Borrodell Gewürztraminer ’08 as Australia’s top wines in the “Other White Wines” category, giving it 96 points. We have known our wines were great but this endorsement brings an extra satisfying feeling for all the hard work put into the pruning, growing and all the other tender loving care throughout the year that goes into making extraordinary wines.

Borrodell has a great range of wines available for your enjoyment. To place an order you can use the wine order form page. Alternatively if you would like any further information phone us on : 02 6365 3425, or email: wine@borrodell.com.au
Our cellar door is a large underground cellar, built to accommodate the delicate temperature for wine storage. A cavernous room, large enough to host special events, conferences, weddings and balls, it is also used as a gallery space with regular exhibitions open to the public. For the lastest show, please refer to the “what’s on” section. Being one of the highest vineyards in Australia, we also can boost having one of the best cellar door views in the region. At an altitude of above 1000 metres, our views stretch across the valley, past the township of Orange and beyond to the Central Ranges. Truly a sight only to be experienced personally.
The cellar door is open 7 days for tastings. For groups of 10 or more, a $3 per head charge applies.
