Summer at Borrodell tastes like cherries! 

From early December, our orchard opens for cherry season. Grab a bucket, wander through the rows and pick your own, straight off the tree. It’s high up on the slopes of Gaanha-bula (Mount Canobolas), where cool nights and sunny days make for sweet, plump, deeply coloured fruit.

Bring the whole family for a morning in the orchard, or come solo and fill a bucket for yourself (we won’t judge how many make it home). Pick as much or as little as you like. We’ll weigh your haul on the way out, and you pay by the kilo.

Good to know:

• Cherries are sold by weight
• Buckets are provided
• Wear closed shoes and a hat, and bring sunscreen
• Picking depends on the weather and the fruit. The season is short and the trees decide when it ends, so check our socials for daily updates before you head up
